Found, Genes That Can Make Your Longevity

A gene that can make you live a long life to 100 years have been identified by expert scientists in the United States. Discoveries that have been published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences this, mention may be a new breakthrough in the production of antiaging medicine. The team of researchers from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, doing research on an Ashkenazi Jewish communities in the United States, which has an average age of 97 years. From the results of research, they discovered that the respondents have decreased gene that appears to prevent aging cells.

Research shows that parents who studied 86 children with them, have an enzyme called telomerase with a very high level. This enzyme functions to protect the DNA in the body. They are aged over 90 years and his descendants generally have higher telomerase and make them significantly more longevity. Telomerase is known to the special section of DNA that sit at the end of the chromosome, like a plastic sheath at the end of shoelaces to prevent loose fibers woven rope. Every time a cell divides, the telomerase will shorten and become more vulnerable to death. By raising the level of telomerase, the researchers think they can quickly block cell death and fight the aging process.
