H1N1 Anticipate : Santa Claus No Kissing Children  

Towards Christmas warning, the Hungarian government issued an order for Santa to not kiss or shake hands with the children. The ban is related to the spread of avian diseases, particularly swine flu that are transmitted by the H1N1 influenza virus. Hungarian health authorities and even requested that Santa Claus did vaccination before they do their job, to fight these diseases.

"For Santa, prevention is very important because they will meet with many of the children in early December. And therefore, they are at higher risk of transmission of these infections," said one member of the local government. In a statement published on the site www.antsz.hu, the Hungarian government revealed that the order was not intended to prohibit normal activities carried out Santa Claus every year. But they warned that only pernularan high risk of flu epidemic, which spread almost all over the country.

Last week, the government announced that the number of flu cases in people of Hungary rose to 22,100 in one week, where most of the disease caused by H1N1 influenza viruses. "If Santa is old, overweight or suffering from chronic disease, and high risk of flu ... so do against the flu vaccination is very important," he continued. In the tradition in Hungary, Santa Claus usually comes on December 6, when the children find gifts in the shoes placed on the window bars on the night before.
